Subject: Adopt Resolution Approving Agreement No.24-7306-0256-RA with the USDA Animal and Plant Health Inspection Services for July 1, 2024, through June 30, 2025, for the amount of $ 137,317.48

Executive Summary:

I would like to ask the Board to adopt the attached Resolution which approves the Financial Plan between Lake County and USDA APHIS Wildlife Services for July 1, 2024, through June 30, 2025.
Wildlife Services maintains an integrated wildlife damage management program in Lake County to protect residents, property, livestock, crops, and natural resources from damage caused by predators and other nuisance wildlife while providing Federal leadership in managing these issues. Federal Wildlife Specialists work cooperatively with State Fish and Wildlife when managing wildlife problems and strive to reduce damage caused by wildlife to the lowest possible levels while at the same time reducing wildlife mortality.
