Subject: (Sitting as the Board of Directors of the Kelseyville County Waterworks District #3) Consideration of Resolution Designating a Member of the County of Lake Board of Supervisors to Serve as its Representative Member on the Board of Directors of the Lake County Sanitation District (LACOSAN)
Executive Summary:
Due to discussions that have occurred between the City of Clearlake and the County of Lake, a new interim composition of LACOSAN Board of Directors is being proposed which provides a seat for the Kelseyville County Waterworks District #3.
California Health and Safety Code 4730.1 (a) (4) allows for a public agency, such as Kelseyville County Waterworks District #3, to designate a member of the County Board of Supervisors to serve as its representative member on the Board of Directors of LACOSAN.
Therefore, the Kelseyville County Waterworks District #3 is offering this resolution that designates its seat of the LACOSAN Board of Directors to the Lake County Board of Supervisors.
