Executive Summary:
Health Services respectfully requests Board approval to designate the week of April 1-7, 2024, as Public Health Week in Lake County.
In parallel with National Public Health Week, and consistent with the theme, “Protecting, Connecting, and Thriving: We Are All Public Health, we hope to highlight the critical role we all play in the well-being of our community, encourage public participation in health-promoting activities, and strengthen the collaboration among local government, healthcare providers, and community organizations.
