Subject: Adopt Resolution Concerning Implementation of Electronic Recording
Executive Summary: (include fiscal and staffing impact narrative):
I am requesting the Board of Supervisors approve the resolution concerning the implementation of Electronic Recording (E - Recording) of documents in the County of Lake, Recorder’s Office.
This resolution is needed to provide the Recorder the ability to administer multiple contracts with outside vendors to provide services as they relate to E- Recording. Without these contracts, E - Recording cannot proceed.
E - Recording, once implemented, will provide a streamlined approach to the recording process where possible. E- Recording implementation from this point in time will be approximately two year until the system will go live.
