The California Office of Emergency Services (CalOES) has released for application for the Victim Witness Assistance Grant which will reimburse costs up to $334,861. Cal OES will waive 100% of matching funds. This will mark the 36th year that the Victim Witness Division of the Lake County District Attorney’s Office has been funded. The grant period will run from October 1, 2021-September 30, 2022 and will pay for the majority of personnel and operating cost.
