Subject:                     Adopt Resolution Approving Agreement between the County of Lake and the Department of Health Care Services for Medi-Cal Administrative Activities (MAA) and authorize the Director of Health Services to sign.

 

Executive Summary:

This Participation Agreement between Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) and the County of Lake is to permit the Local Governmental Agency (LGA) to participate in the CMAA program under California’s Medi-Cal program.

DHCS decided to change from a contract format to a Participation Agreement.  This Participation Agreement will replace the currently approved MAA contract effective July 1, 2019, which your board approved on March 19, 2019.
