SUBJECT: Approve Bid Award to Rogue Jet Boatworks in the amount of $95,371 for the purchase of an Aluminum Patrol/Rescue Boat and Trailer
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: On October 24, 2018, the Sheriff’s Department issued a sealed bid request for the purchase of a 2018/19, 21-23’ Deep Vee bottom Aluminum patrol/rescue boat and trailer. The bid documents were posted on the Sheriff and County websites and published in the Record Bee on 10/27/2018. Five bid requests were mailed to respective vendors. One sealed bid was received from the following vendor:
1. Rogue Jet Boatworks
It is the recommendation of the Marine Patrol Division, to award the contract to Rogue Jet Boatworks in the amount of $95,371.

FISCAL IMPACT (Narrative): Funding has been provided by the State Department of Boating and Waterways and is allocated in the Sheriff/Marine Patrol budget 2205. There is no cost to the County general fund.
