Subject: Approve Award of Bid for Kelseyville Sidewalks Project, Bid No. 251335, Federal Aid Project No. HIPL-5914(133), with Zara Construction Inc., of Sacramento CA., in the Amount of $757,163.00

Executive Summary:

The Public Works Department, in collaboration with the County Purchasing Agent, publicly opened bids for the subject project on Thursday, October 30, 2025. Five (5) bids were received, and the apparent lowest responsible bidder was Zara Construction Inc., of Sacramento, California. Please refer to the attached bid tabulation.

The project is funded by the Community Project Funded Congressional Directed Spending (CPFCDS) Program, and Senate Bill 1 (SB1). The scope of the project is the construction of curb, gutter, and sidewalk, curb ramps, school area signs, crosswalks and bike lanes along the South side of Konocti Road from Cole Creek to Oak Hills Lane, in Kelseyville.
