Subject: Adopt Resolution Authorizing the Submission to the California Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery, Cal Recycle for Local Enforcement Agency Grant for the Period of July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2029

Executive Summary:

The California Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery provides funds to Local Enforcement Agencies to support solid waste facilities permit and inspections programs. Funds are based on the jurisdiction's population and the number of permitted, active solid waste facilities.

We respectfully request your Board's authorization to submit the required grant applications to the California Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery.
