Subject: Approve Contract between County of Lake and Shore Side Electric for Electrical Services, in the amount of $49,000 from July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025, and authorize the Chair to sign.

Executive Summary:
Shore Side Electric will help Adult Protective Service (APS) clients attain stable housing by providing household electrical repair and installation services on an as needed basis, utilizing a portion of the Home Safe Program grant funds. Services include repairs to outlets and wired connections, appliances, lighting, heating and cooling systems, washers, dryers, and ovens. Shore Side Electric will also provide installations for new lighting, heating, and cooling systems, as well as smoke/carbon monoxide detectors, doorbells, and alarms.

Social Services requested informal written quotes in February of 2023. Two bids were received, and Shore Side Electric was chosen due to better pricing and availability.
