Subject: Consideration of Presentation Regarding Ongoing Development of a Lake County Regional Housing Trust Fund
Executive Summary:
As your Board is aware, availability and supply of quality housing for all income levels is a need in Lake County. The lack of it may affect the capacity of local businesses and County government to maintain quality staff and limit economic opportunity in our region. Your Board's Legislative Priorities include "[Providing] new housing at all income levels."
The County Administrative Office is very pleased to provide a presentation regarding ongoing development of a Lake County Regional Housing Trust Fund. Presentations will additionally be made to the Clearlake (November 7) and Lakeport (November 19) City Councils this month.
Drafts of the proposed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and Resolution to create the Lake County Regional Housing Trust Fund are included for your review (and public inspection), only; final versions will be brought to your Board for formal approval December 10, 2024.
