Subject: 11:00 A.M. - Consideration of an Update on County Economic Development and Housing Initiatives

Executive Summary:

Ben Rickelman and Lisa Judd, Deputy County Administrative Officers, will provide an update on economic development and housing initiatives that are in progress and recently passed legislation that may have a significant local economic impact.

These initiatives include:

* The County economic development / housing website;
* Capital Improvement Plan;
* Microgrids RFQ;
* Health Education and Regional Training Hub EDA funding - Senator Padilla's request;
* The upcoming CDBG submittal, which potentially include fa?ade improvements,
* microenterprise / small business loans, and a microgrid analysis; and
* Possible Fee Deferral Program for Commercial Developments.

Legislation covered will include SB 131, AB 130, and H.R. 1, the recently enacted reconciliation bill.

Lisa Judd, Deputy County Administrative Officer, will additionally provide a brief update regarding housing initiatives.
