Subject: Consideration of Letter of Support for Clearlake’s Grant Application for Lakeshore Drive Safety Enhancement Project
Executive Summary:
The City of Clearlake is seeking letters of support for their grant application which would allow them to enhance Lakeshore Drive with bike lanes, sidewalks, enhanced lighting, and green infrastructure stormwater management solutions.
This grant would provide $16.9 million in grant funding along with the matching funds of $3.38 million in local matching funds. This project aligns with the Area Planning Council’s Active Transportation Plan in promoting multimodal transport options.
