SUBJECT: Approve Long Distance Travel from October 28-31, 2019 for County Administrative Officer Carol Huchingson to attend meetings in Washington, D.C. with Federal Representatives to advocate for additional disaster recovery funds for Lake County
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
Rebuild Northbay is facilitating a number of meetings with federal representatives in Washington D.C., for the dates referenced above, to be attended by Board of Supervisor’s members and CAO’s from the jurisdictions in our region most severely impacted by wildfire in recent years, including the counties of Lake, Mendocino, Sonoma, Napa and the Cities of Santa Rosa and Paradise.
Attendees are responsible for airfare and hotel and Rebuild Northbay is coordinating local transportation and some meals. Chair Scott plans to attend at her own expense.
