Subject: Approve to waive 900-hour limit for Extra Help Facilities Maintenance Worker II Lawrence Platz
Executive Summary:
The Health Services Department requests authorization to waive the 900-hour limit for Lawrence Platz.
Lawrence Platz is employed as a Facilities Maintenance Worker II (Extra-Help). Lawrence has been working additional hours to provide support for COVID-19 Crisis Response, acting as a courier to deliver testing samples to the Public Health lab in Santa Rosa for analysis, as well as assisting with the increased need for cleaning and sanitizing at the Health Services Building. We feel it would be to the county’s benefit to extend Lawrence’s hours. Hours are not to exceed 955.
