Subject: Adopt Resolution Approving Agreement No. 23-0026-018-SF with the California Department of Food and Agriculture to Authorize Execution of the Asian Citrus Psyllid Winter Trapping Program in the Amount of $13,490.00 Starting October 1, 2023, through June 30, 2024
Executive Summary:
I would like to ask the Board to adopt the attached Resolution approving an agreement with the California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA) for the Asian Citrus Psyllid Winter Trapping Program in Lake County from October 1, 2023, through June 30, 2024. This pest, which has been found in California, is detrimental to the citrus industry. Lake County has citrus grown throughout the county and participates in this program annually to monitor for the presence of this pest. The agreement amount is $13,490.00.
Should your Board adopt this resolution, please have the Chair sign one original copy of the agreement, and one copy of the board resolution and return them to the Department of Agriculture for processing. A signed complete copy will be returned for your records.
