Subject: Consideration of Resolution Authorizing Lake County Behavioral Health Services to Increase the Rates for Substance Use Disorder Drug Medi-Cal Services Effective Fiscal Year 2021-22.
Executive Summary:
Lake County Behavioral Health Services is contracted with the California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) to receive reimbursement funds for all eligible Substance Use Disorder Drug Medi-Cal services.
The Department of Health Care Services has authorized an increase in rates for Substance Use Disorder Drug Medi-Cal services, attached as Exhibit A.
Lake County Behavioral Health Services must increase the rates for Substance Use Disorder Drug Medi-Cal services in its electronic health record application in order to facilitate correct billing and reimbursement of Substance Use Disorder Drug Medi-Cal services.
Approval of this Resolution will allow LCBHS to increase these rates, which will mean significantly more revenue coming in for services provided.

Adopt Resolution Authorizing Lake County Behavioral Health Services to Increase the Rates for Substance Use Disorder Drug Medi-Cal Services Effective Fiscal Year 2021-22 and update these rates in the Electronic Health Record application.
