Subject: Consideration of Presentation on the California Department of Insurance Overview and Safer from Wildfires Framework
Executive Summary:
California Department of Insurance (CDI) Outreach Analyst Durriya Syed will be making a presentation to the Board in response to direction given to staff to reach out to the CDI following the discussion of CAL FIRE's State Responsibility Area Fire Hazard Severity Zones Map.
The first topic of the presentation today will be an overview of insurance with resources to help homeowners find residential insurance. The second topic will cover the Safer from Wildfire Discounts. Below are the links to resources that will be included in the presentation:
