Executive Summary: In February of 2023, the Lake County Board of Supervisors conducted the first reading of a draft ordinance amending Chapter 5 of the Lake County Code and incorporating by reference the 2022 California Building Standards Code, also known as the California Code of Regulations, et seq. In March of 2023, the Board held the second reading of the ordinance and officially adopted the amendments, incorporating the 2022 California Building Standards Code by reference.
