Subject: Approve Request to Waive 900-Hour Limit for Extra Help Accountant, Cindy Silva-Brackett and Public Health Nurse, Kathleen (Kitty) Wertz.
Executive Summary:
The Health Services Department is requesting approval to exceed the 900-hour extra help limit for Cindy Silva-Brackett, Accountant not to exceed 960 hours and Public Health Nurse Kathleen (Kitty) Wertz not to exceed 960 hours.
Cindy has worked additional hours this fiscal year providing COVID billing and training expertise for the administration department through various staffing changes. Kitty has worked additional hours in various programs where we have not been able to fill will full time nurses. Health Services requests exceeding the 900-hour limit so that the Department may continue to assist our patients/clients in a timely manner.
