Subject: a) Approve agreement with All In One Auto Repair & Towing for the Abatement Services for Abandoned and Surrendered Vessel Abatement (SAVA) Towing and Disposal Services, in the amount not to exceed $100,000 and b) authorize the Chair of the Board of Directors of the Watershed Protection District to sign the agreement.


Executive Summary:
The Lake County Watershed Protection District (District) publically issued a Request for Quotes (RFQ), identified as RFQ 21-14, for abatement services of sunken and abandoned vessels on September 15, 2021. One (1) Proposal was received and after review and consideration, it was determined All in One Auto Repair & Towing submitted a thorough and responsive bid following County Code of Ordinance, Chapter 2, Article X. The District entered into an Agreement with All in One Auto Repair & Towing on November 16, 2021 for abatement services of sunken and abandoned vessels.

The referenced project follows the same scope as RFQ 21-14 and the executed November 16, 2021 Agreement. The project is fully funded and approved by the Board of Supervisors during budget hearings on June 14th 2023 through the Cannabis Tax Internal Fund Program (BU1072).

The District and All in One Auto Repair & Towing have been working diligently and effectively to accomplish the tasks and project scope as referenced by the November 16, 2021 Agreement and relating Amendment. To spend out the additional funding secured for the reference project, the District intends to enter into a new agreement with All in One Auto Repair & Towing for a cost not to exceed one hundred thousand dollars and zero cents ($100,000) with a termination date of June 30, 2024, for the referenced project.
