Subject: Adopt Resolution Expressing Support for the Lower Lake Daze Parade and Street Fair; and Authorizing Temporary Road Closures, Parking Restrictions, Posting of Signs, and Removal of Vehicles


Executive Summary:

The Lower Lake Daze Parade and Street Fair is planned for May 25, 2025, from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Based on previous Lower Lake Daze events, temporary road closures and no-parking zones are needed to limit congestion so emergency services can access the area during the Lower Lake Daze event.

A resolution expressing support for the Lower Lake Daze Parade and Street Fair, and to create the temporary no-parking zone and temporary closure of (a) Main Street, from Hwy 53/29 to the intersection with Mill Street, (b) Lake Street, from Second Street to Main Street; (c) Adams Street, from Second Street to Main Street, and (d) Mill Street, from Second Street to Main Street.
