Subject: Approve Resolution of the City Council of the City of Clearlake Calling for and Providing for and Giving Notice of the General Municipal Election to be held in the City of Clearlake, County of Lake, State of California, on the 3rd day of November, 2026 for the Purpose of Electing Two City Council Members, each to hold a term of Four Years, and One City Treasurer, to Hold a Term of Four Years (subject to Section 1.C of this Resolution), or Until Their Successors are Elected and Qualified, and Submitting to the Electors Measure ___ to be Vote on at Said Election, Establishing Deadlines for Direct and Rebuttal Arguments, Providing for the Preparation of an Impartial Analysis, and Requesting Approval of the Lake County Board of Supervisors for Election Services to be Provided by the County Elections Department
Executive Summary:
The Resolution of the City Council of the City of Clearlake is being submitted for your Board's approval pursuant to Section 10400 et seq. of the Elections Code, State of California. The City of Clearlake requests the Board of Supervisors to permit the Registrar of Voters to render all services necessary to conduct the election and the City agrees to reimburse the County of Lake in full upon presentation of the bill.
