Subject:                     Consideration of Introduction of New Staff of the Lake County Resource Conservation District and Annual Update to the Board of Supervisors

 

Executive Summary:

 

The Lake County Resource Conservation District (RCD) has undergone a transformation in the last two years that includes hiring of full-time staff, securing millions of dollars in funding, and much more.

 

While the RCD has added staff, they also have added programming and increased operating capital through successful grant writing.

 

Today, Julia Sullivan, Executive Director of the RCD along with other staff will give an informational presentation to your Board about their progress and plans for the future.
