Executive Summary:
PROCLAMATION

Commending Gail Woodworth for her 32 Years of Service to the County of Lake

WHEREAS, Gail Woodworth, began service with the County of Lake as an Account Clerk in 1991, and became Account Clerk for the Lake County Department of Child Support Services in February 1995; and

WHEREAS, she quickly and consistently demonstrated a strong work ethic and leadership qualities, proving an ideal candidate for promotional opportunities within the department; and

WHEREAS, Gail Woodworth promoted to Family Support Accounting Supervisor November of 1996; and

WHEREAS, Gail Woodworth promoted to Family Support Administrative Manager December of 1998; and

WHEREAS, Gail Woodworth was appointed Director of Child Support Services by the Board of Supervisors in 2002, and has brought uncommon skill, insight and a strong service orientation to this role for more than two decades (21 years); and

WHEREAS, while serving as the Director of Child Support Services, Gail Woodworth successfully attained her Bachelor of Science in Management, in March 2006; and

WHEREAS, Gail Woodworth has been a professional and inspiring leader to countless coworkers and staff over her three remarkable decades of service with the County of Lake, and diligently prepared leaders within her organization to continue the high standard she worked hard to cultivate; and

WHEREAS, staff, colleagues and the broader public will greatly miss Gail Woodworth, and her tremendous contributions in roles of progressive responsibility will continue to inspire others to the utmost service for years to come; and

WHEREAS, Gail Woodworth has announced her intention to retire on May 30, 2023.
