Subject: Adopt a Resolution Approving the Mileage in County Maintained Road System

Executive Summary:

Section 2121 of the Streets and Highway Code provides that in May of each year, each county shall submit to the Department of Transportation, Division of Highways, State of California, any additions or exclusions for the mileage of maintained county roads, specifying the termini and mileage of each route added or excluded from its county-maintained roads. Staff has coordinated the late submission of the report with Caltrans staff.

The County Surveyor determined that the total mileage of maintained roads is unchanged and measures 615.39 miles for 2024, as shown in Exhibit A of the Resolution.

The Public Works Director will submit certified copies of this Resolution to the California Department of Transportation.
