Memorandum
Date: June 27, 2023
To: The Honorable Lake County Board of Supervisors
From: Stephen Carter, Jr. Interim Behavioral Health Director
Subject: Adopt Resolution Re-Establishing Two (2) Petty Cash Funds For the Lake County Behavioral Health Services Department for Lake County Behavioral Health Services Department.
Executive Summary:
The re-establishment of petty cash funds will enable our Department to more effectively engage and serve beneficiaries, particularly youth beneficiaries during the course of community-based services. The ability to provide youth with incentives during the course of treatment has a positive impact on client outcomes. Incentives may include the purchase of food or other small items that are very motivating to youth.
