Executive Summary[MT1]:

The purpose of MIT-PP is to assist local jurisdictions with mitigation-public services projects to support risk reduction from the three primary hazards (wildfire, flooding, and earthquake). MIT-PPS Projects must meet the HUD definition of mitigation, "activities that increase resilience to disasters and reduce or eliminate the long-term risk of loss of life, injury, damage to and loss of property, and suffering and hardship by lessening the impact of future disasters."

The Community Development [MT2]Department has applied for HCD's CDBG MIT - Planning and Public Services Grant to support a Code Enforcement Mitigation Team submitted 3/1/2024. After a review of the documents by CDBG staff, it was brought to the attention of our department that our CDBG MIT PPS Resolution allocation amount was incorrect, the final amount is $1,123,262.
