Memorandum

Date: June 17, 2025

To: Honorable Eddie "EJ" Crandell, Chair, Lake County Board of Supervisors

From: Brad Rasmussen, District 4 Supervisor
Bruno Sabatier, District 2 Supervisor

Subject: Approve MOU between the County of Lake Behavioral Health, lead agency of the Lake County Continuum of Care (LCCoC), and the Lake County Community Foundations to be the Fiscal Agent for the LCCoC and authorize the Chair to sign

Executive Summary:
The Lake County Continuum of Care is seeking to obtain more grant funding to reduce the population of those in Lake County that are experiencing homelessness. Lake County Behavioral Health staff have been hard at work ensuring that we continue to obtain the grants made available to us but have limited capacity to seek out other sources for grant funding to help the LCCoC reach its many strategic goals.

The Lake County Community Foundations has graciously offered to partner with the LCCoC and become a fiscal agent partner and work on getting new grant funding for the LCCoC. With this MOU LCCoC is anticipated to expand its services and its housing continuum in order to get people off our streets and sheltered appropriately.
