Subject: Consideration of the Agreement Between County of Lake and the Lake County Office of Education for the Safe Schools Healthy Students Program for School-Based Specialty Mental Health Services in the Amount of $500,000.00 for Fiscal Year 2024-25.

Executive Summary:

Lake County Behavioral Health Services continues to partner with the Lake County Office of Education for the provision of Specialty Mental Health Services in the school setting. The two sites where services are currently being delivered are the Creativity School in Clearlake and Lloyd P. Hance School. The provision of school-based Specialty Mental Health Services is critical to building a behavioral health system of care for our community's children. We envision continuing to expand this partnership and provide increased school-based services over the course of 2024-25 through Medi-Cal site certification of other school sites. The Lake County Office of Education did complete a Request for Qualifications process which ensure they remain in good standing to continue to provide these critical services.
