Subject: Adopt Resolution to Accept the Funding in the Agreement Between County of Lake and the CA Housing and Community Development Department

Executive Summary:
Lake County Department of Social Services has recently implemented the Transitional Age Youth (TAY) housing program which serves young adults between the ages of 18 through 24 to identify and obtain permanent housing -- with priority populations that include current and former youth of the Foster Care and/or Probation Systems.

The Department of Housing & Community Development has awarded Lake County two sources of allocated funds for the TAY program which are: Transitional Housing Program (THP) and the Housing Navigation and Maintenance Program (HNMP) allocations. This agreement represents the third annual funding agreement received for this program.
