Subject:                     Consideration of approval to waive the 900 hour limit for certain Janitorial positions within the Department of Social Services

 

Executive Summary:

The Department of Social Services requests authorization to waive the 900 hour limit for four extra help janitors - Darrell Grady, Nathan Russell McLean, Neil Raffanelli, and Marc Whitney.

 

The janitorial team performs janitorial work for 11 Social Services buildings.  Their wages are paid out of Budget Unit 5011, Social Services Administration.  We have sufficient salary savings to cover this increase in cost.  Their hours will not exceed 999.
