To: The Honorable Lake County Board of Supervisors

From: Mireya G. Turner, Community Development Department Director

Subject: Approve Amendment of Agreement Between the County of Lake and 360 Junk Removal & Hauling Annual Compensation by $50,000; for a Total Compensation Not to Exceed $150,000. for Abatement Services and Authorize the Chair to Sign.

Executive Summary: The original agreement between the County of Lake and 360 Junk Removal & Hauling for Abatement Services was approved by the Director of the Community Development Department and the Agreement for Abatement Services commenced on July 1, 2025. Since then, 360 Junk Removal & Hauling has been a valuable partner to perform Abatement Services and was a vital partner in abatements for the Community Development Department (CDD) CalRecycle Grant.

The capacity of 360 Junk Removal & Hauling is beyond the capacity of the other abatement services contractors and for this reason they are an important partner in performing large projects effectively and reliably. To ensure that we can have the capacity to deliver on the CalRecycle Grant objectives to clean up illegal dumping in Lake County it is vital we have the resources and expertise of 360 Junk Removal & Hauling available to us. The identified abatements, which are required to be completed by June 2025 by the CalRecycle grant program, are funded by the CalRecycle grant and include the funding to be used for this increase in contract amount.

In looking forward to planned Abatements through June 30, 2026, we anticipate we will exceed the original $100,000 contract limit and for this reason we ask the Board to approve the increased annual compensation to not exceed $150,000, ensuring we do not experience any delays in executing planned abatements.
