Subject: Approve Closure of the Lakeport Probation Office on October 26, 2026, to facilitate the move from 201 S. Smith Street to 1220 Martin Street
Executive Summary:
The Probation Department’s main office is moving from 201 S. Smith Street, Lakeport to 1220 Martin Street, Lakeport. In order to have a smooth transition of services, Probation requests that the Lakeport office be closed on October 26, 2026. It is anticipated that the Probation Office will open at the Martin Street address on October 27, 2026. The Lower Lake Office will remain open on October 26, 2026, and handle all phone calls and communications.
