Subject: Approve the Plans and Specifications for the Lampson Field Airport East Apron Rehabilitation Project; Solicitation No. 261731, Federal Aid Project AIP No. 3-06-0117-023-2023


Executive Summary:

The Plans and Specifications for the Lampson Field Airport East Apron Rehabilitation Project are complete.

The construction estimate is approximately $950,000.00.

Construction funding for this project is provided by a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airport Improvement Program grant, which will fund 95% of the project. The remaining 5% will be funded by the state matching grant program through the Caltrans Division of Aeronautics and County General Fund.

In accordance with State law and County policy, Board approval of the project plans and specifications is required before advertising for construction. The plans and specifications are available for review at the Public Works Department. Upon Board approval, staff will proceed with soliciting bids for construction.
