Subject: Authorize the Public Services Director/Assistant Purchasing Agent to sign a Purchase Order not to exceed $106,730.00 to the Bobcat Company for a T86 T4 Bobcat Compact Track Loader for the Eastlake Landfill.

Executive Summary: The FY24/25 Integrated Waste Management budget includes an appropriation of $120,000.00 for the purchase of a new compact track loader to be used at the Eastlake Landfill. The existing compact track loader in use at the landfill that is proposed to be replaced has over 6,000 hours of equipment use.

Staff secured a quote from Bobcat of Santa Rosa for a T86 T4 Bobcat Compact Track Loader, which includes all mandatory attachments, warranty, delivery, and tax. The purchase is proposed through Sourcewell's cooperative purchasing program under Doosan Bobcat North America, Inc., DBA Bobcat Company, Sourcewell contract #020223-CEC. Consequently, the competitive bidding requirements of the County have been satisfied in accordance with the County's purchasing code section 2-38.4.
