Subject: Adopt Resolution Approving Agreement No. 20-0397-000-SA with California Department of Food and Agriculture for compliance with the Nursery Inspection program for period July 1, 2020 through June 30, 2021 in the Amount of $631.00

Executive Summary:

I would like to ask the Board to adopt the attached Resolution approving the Agreement with the California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA) for the Nursery Inspection Program in Lake County from July 1, 2020 through June 30, 2021.The agreement amount is $631.00.

The Nursery Inspection Program Agreement includes reimbursement for the necessary labor to perform these inspections. This includes inspection of all nursery stock at all producers/ wholesale nursery locations within the county. These inspections protect the public from purchasing potentially infested/ infected plants.

Should the board adopt this resolution, please have the chair sign and return one copy of the agreement, one copy of the board resolution and return them to the Department of Agriculture for processing. A signed complete copy will be returned for your records.
