Subject: Report on the Road Map Task Force 2022 Activities
Executive Summary:
Lake County Sheriff's Office (LCSO) and Lake County Community Development Department, Code Enforcement Division (CDD) will provide the Board with a statistical report on the activities of the Road Map Task Force in the Clearlake Oaks area.
History:
The Road Map Task Force is a pilot program approved by the Lake County Board of Supervisors on August 31, 2021, with a budget of approximately $800,000. The purpose of the pilot program is to revitalize and secure the Clearlake Oaks neighborhoods, by identifying and maximizing available resources throughout the pilot area to reduce crime and blight, promote public safety, and enhance community beautification to increase the quality-of-life for Lake County residents, business owners, visitors, and students. On April 26, 2022, The Lake County Board of Supervisors gave approval that the Road Map Task Force may move forward to finalize the revitalization goals for the community of Clearlake Oaks.

From January 1, 2022 to December 31, 2022, the LCSO contacted and/or investigated over 200 properties. The following statistics have been provided by the LCSO for this period:

* Fentanyl seized 671.2 grams (1.5 pounds)
* Methamphetamine seized 2,934.6 grams (6.5 pounds)
* Ketamine seized 12 pounds, 5.8 ounces

* Processed marijuana bud 11,071 pounds
