Subject: Approve the Supplemental Services Agreement Number 3 between the County of Lake and Armstrong Consultants for consulting services related to Lampson Airfield and authorize the Chair to sign the Agreement
Executive Summary:
On June 27th, your Board discussed the potential expansion of Lampson Field and at the conclusion of that discussion directed staff to return with a contract for hiring our airport consultant, Armstrong Consultants, to perform an analysis of that project. Today's item proposes your Board's consideration of a Supplemental Services contract for the consultant's engineering services, a copy of which is attached.
It should be noted that during the meeting on the 27th, additional discussion was held regarding a possible project to perform a county-wide evaluation of potential new airport sites. Staff is soliciting a price from the consultant for that item of work, and we will be bringing an item for a separate supplemental agreement at a later date.
