Subject: 10:30 A.M. - Consideration of Lake County Tourism Improvement District 2024 Annual Marketing Report

Executive Summary:

The Lake County Tourism Improvement District (Visit Lake County) produces an Annual Marketing Report to outline the TID's impact and operations in the past year. The 2024 Annual Marketing Report covers the organization's finances, economic impact of tourism in Lake County, Visit Lake County's performance metrics, tools to drive visitation to Lake County, partnerships, earned media campaigns, and a look ahead to this year activities. TID assessment collections and travel spending in Lake County moderately improved from 2023. By most metrics, organic social media saw significant year-over-year improvement. There was also significant improvement in the reach of the monthly newsletter and blog and several earned media pieces in prominent publications highlighting Lake County.
