Subject: Approve Late Travel Claims for Election Technicians for the November 5, 2024, General Election and Authorize the Auditor-Controller to Process Payments to be paid out of FY 2024/2025.
The Registrar of Voters office requests approval for the payment of late travel claims for Election Technicians who attended training for the November 5, 2024, General Election, in the amount of three hundred fifty dollars and forty-one cents ($350.41).
On August 20th, 2024, the Board of Supervisors passed Resolution 2024-87 which authorized the Registrar of Voters office to compensate Precinct Board Members who travel over 2-mile, round trip from the location of the training classes. Due to unforeseen circumstances, paperwork was not submitted, and the 60-day timeframe had been exceeded. The Registrar of Voter’s office requests your Board to authorize the Auditor-Controller to process the various travel claims totaling $350.41
