Subject: Adopt Resolution Accepting the Work of the 14C-0048 Cache Creek Bridge (Chalk Mountain Road) Replacement Project, Federal Project No. BRLO-5914(094) and Direct the Public Works Director to File the Notice of Completion

Executive Summary:

On September 26, 2023, the County of Lake (County) executed a construction contract in the amount of $6,176,906.00, with Stewart Engineering, Inc. for the construction of the 14C-0048 Cache Creek Bridge (Chalk Mountain Road) Replacement Project.

The County executed 4 change orders which increased the final contract amount to $6,264,536.77, that is, 1.42%.

The Project was funded by Federal Highway Bridge Program funds and State Toll Credits.[GM1]

On February 25, 2024, the work was completed to the satisfaction of the Public Works Director.

The Public Works Director prepared the attached resolution accepting the work and directing the Public Works Director to file the Notice of Completion.
