Memorandum

Date: June 27, 2023

To: The Honorable Lake County Board of Supervisors

From: Rob Howe, Sheriff/Coroner

Subject: Approve late travel claims for Correctional Deputy Jacob Masdeo in the amounts of $58.00, $58.00, $58.00 and $24.00 and Daniel Constancio in the amounts of $126.00 and $126.00 and authorize the Auditor to issue payment

Executive Summary: The Sheriff's Department requests approval of the attached five late travel claims. These claims arose from a graveyard assignment in Roseville that required supervision of an inmate in a medical facility. Correctional Deputies Jacob Masdeo and Daniel Constancio were assigned shifts working from 1800-0600 and there was confusion as to which meals these employees were allowed to claim. With the assistance of the Auditor's office, a determination has been made, however due to the lateness of the claims, your Board's approval is now required. The claims total $450.00 and will be paid from the Sheriff/Jail budget 2301, object code 29.50.
