Subject: (Sitting as the Lake County Housing Commission) - Consideration of First Amendment to Contract between County of Lake - Lake County Housing Commission and Management Reports Incorporated for Lindsey Program Management Software, in the amount of $27,000.00 for the period of October 1, 2026 to September 30, 2027, and authorize the LCHC Chair to sign.
Executive Summary:
The Lake County Housing Commission (LCHC) currently operates under the Department of Social Services. The Lake County Department of Social Services (LCDSS) contracts with Management Reports Incorporated (MRI) Software, LLC for the provision of Lindsey program management software and fee accounting services, which LCHC has utilized for many years. The software suite is designed to help housing agencies optimize operational and administrative processes and fulfill government compliance requirements by providing cloud-based solutions that allow public housing authorities (PHAs) to manage payments made on behalf of clients, maintenance workflows, applications, and communications.
On November 29, 2023, the BOS approved a statement of work from contractor, adding an online housing choice voucher waitlist module to our current MRI/Lindsey software package at an additional yearly cost of five hundred dollars ($500.00).
LCHC has requested another modification to the agreement, due to uncertainty about their future needs; changing the contract's autorenewal clause from a five-year term to a one-year term and adding funds to ensure anticipated PHA consolidation costs are included.
