Subject: Consideration of Amendment No. 1 to the Agreement Between the County of Lake and Community Behavioral Health for Specialty Mental Health Services in the Amount of $3,200,000 for Fiscal Years 2023-24, 2024-25, and 2025-26 and Authorize the Board Chair to Sign.

Executive Summary:

Lake County Behavioral Health Services Department went out to bid for psychiatry/telepsychiatry services in May 2023. The Department selected a proposal from Community Behavioral Health (CBH) to provide services. We started out with a smaller contract and have since scaled up services with CBH. We have for the past several years contracted with North American Mental Health Services for these services and are reducing our utilization of services with this provider.

Of note, all of these services are Medi-Cal/insurance reimbursable.
