Subject: Approve Amendment No. 1 to Agreement for Professional Services between County of Lake and RT Lawrence Corporation
Executive Summary:
On June 6, 2023, your Board previously approved the Agreement for Professional Services between the County and RT Lawrence Corporation (RTL). This expanded our current payment processing software and equipment to services to include a lockbox payment program.
Currently, our office is one of the remaining entities that runs on RTL's Version 7.0 software. Given this year's intensive transition and implementation schedules we had decided to push the necessary Version 8.0 to next fiscal year. This was deemed technically feasible by all parties and would space out the demands on T-TC and IT staff. In the meantime, however, it has become necessary upgrade now to ensure operations continue smoothly.
An amendment to the current RTL agreement is attached reflecting the $14,300.00 upgrade cost that will now be necessary in this fiscal year.
