Executive Summary:

The Treasurer-Tax Collectors office is seeking an amendment to the existing agreement with Harmony Research LLC, seeking to expand maximum compensation to $615,000 from $307,500. There is no change to applicable rates.

Auction expense is assigned to each individual parcel posted for sale and is included in the minimum auction bid. Said costs are typically recovered via auction proceeds or parcel redemption. When the properties are not sold or the minimum bid is reduced, these costs may not be successfully recovered. It remains possible that cost recovery may cease to become effective during the term of this agreement due to the value of the existing inventory eligible for sale.
