Subject: Adopt Resolution Approving the Application of the Lake County Arts Council for the California Arts Council State Local Partner Grant for the period of October 1, 2024 - September 30, 2025, and authorizing the Lake County Arts Council to execute the grant contract

Executive Summary:

Since 1986, the Lake County Arts Council has been recognized as the official representative of the Arts to the State-Local Partnership Program. We received a request from Barbara Clark, Executive Director of the Lake County Arts Council, for a Resolution authorizing the Lake County Arts Council to apply for the FY 2024-25 California Arts Council Grant. The deadline to apply is June 6, 2024 and the Grant Activity Period is October 1, 2024 - September 30, 2025, as noted in the CAC Grant Guidelines.
