b) Consideration and approval of the Soda Bay Corridor Evacuation Plan prepared by Headway Transportation Consultants


Executive Summary:

As your Board is aware, the Department of Public Works, together with the County Chief Climate Resiliency Officer, representatives from the Konocti Fire Safe Council and Homeowners Association's from Buckingham, Riviera Heights, Riviera West, and Kelseyville Riviera, Headway Transportation, and the Clear Lake Environmental Research Center (CLERC) recently completed the Soda Bay Corridor Evacuation Route Planning and Maintenance Project. This project was funded through a grant provided by the California State Firesafe Council and CalFire. Today's item is for your Board and the public to receive a presentation on the project and its accomplishments. Additionally, the Board will also receive a presentation on the Evacuation Plan prepared by Headway Transportation Consultants, with an action item to formally approve the Plan.
