Subject: Consideration of a Letter of Support for the Lake County Fire Safe Council's Application to Coalitions and Collaboratives' Action, Implementation, and Mitigation Program Grant

Executive Summary:

The Lake County Fire Safe Council (LCFSC), a program of the Lake County Resource Conservation District, is seeking a letter of support from your Board for their application to Coalitions and Collaboratives' (COCO) Action, Implementation, and Mitigation (AIM) program grant.

The LCFSC is seeking support for capacity building and Phase II of CMAT (Community Mitigation Assistance Team) implementation. If funded, the project would expand upon previous capacity building initiatives for the LCFSC.
